Vehicles burnt in solidarity with Nikos Romanos and Rémi Fraisse (UK)

Wednesday, November 26th, 2014

abc hurricane receives and transmits:

French police have killed Rémi Fraisse while they try to rout a combative forest occupation that prevents the Sivens dam. We have burned a vehicle in the service of the French multinational GDF (who work towards the new nuclear reactor not far away at Hinkley Point on top of other nuclear projects in many countries, force dams on irreplaceable Amazonian indigenous lands with the support of Brazil’s military, provide facility management for the police force in this region, run utilities on the Shetland Islands for one of the biggest oil and gas terminals in Europe, manage multiple French prisons, and all around design technologies which attempt to disguise industrial capitalism as sustainable development for the same banks and commercial entities as always).

This was in the Long Ashton area, where we then also burned an audacious 4×4, two luxury sports cars, and a vehicle of OSC (who are considered one of the top security companies in the UK, providing guard personnel, patrols, CCTV instillation and monitoring, etc.). (more…)

Anarchists of Mytilene: About the latest raids and arrest of Antonis Stamboulos (Greece)

Sunday, October 12th, 2014

mytilene

On October 1st, the anarchist Antonis Stamboulos is arrested by the counter-terrorist agency accused of terrorist actions. His arrest was hyped from the media, in a furious journalistic climate, based on findings of guilt and imaginary scenarios as signed directly from the 12th floor of the police headquarters.

At the same time, under coordinated counter-terrorism investigations in Athens and Thessaloniki, five people were arrested, the two of whom were detained and driven to Korydallos prison, on charges of aggravated possession of weapons and possession of explosives. The arrested Panagiotis Michalakoglou claimed responsibility for the weapons found in his house, while M.B. has nothing to do with the case.

Antonis Stamboulos, from the first time of his arrest, refused to have any kind of communication with the cops, giving a struggle of dignity continuing till today, since he is on a hunger and thirst strike in Larissa prison from October 6th [Antonis ended the thirst strike October 11th, and issued a new letter explaining his position], demanding his transfer to Korydallos prison, so as he can be close to his familiars. Amélie and Fallon express solidarity with the four anarchists on hunger strike (Mexico)

Friday, October 10th, 2014

Via act for freedom now! et en français par non-fides:

Last Friday night huge graffiti appeared on the walls of the dining room of dormitory C in San Marta prison where we are being held kidnapped. The graffiti expresses our solidarity with anarchist comrades Abraham, Fernando, Mario and Carlos, who are on indefinite hunger strike.. Our fellow prisoners haven’t stopped commenting on the extremely visible composition since that day.

It’s a change from the “I love you” usually painted in the prison corridors! It has a confrontational aspect, making a break with daily passivity.

The objective was reached! It is a way to start discussion and create spaces for reflection inside the prison. This is one of the ways we have here inside to tackle social peace and pacification. From our perspective, there are many ways to fight back and take a position of rejecting authority.

The intention is not to claim anyone’s innocence, but to generate contexts of conflict and a break with the established order. Moreover, we are aware of the fact that the initiative of the comrades on hunger strike was hyped in the context of 2 October in the mass media, but we know that that was not the comrades’ intention, because we refuse to use the networks of the mass media, even less to talk about innocence.

In solidarity with the compas in hunger strike!

Update on the health situation of the 4 anarchist comrades on hunger strike (Mexico)

Tuesday, October 7th, 2014

translated by actforfree:

“If you asked me what prison is, I would answer without a doubt that it is a wasteland of defined social-economic plans, where they throw all those individuals that bother them within society: this is why prison mainly houses mainly poor people” Xose Tarrio

“A movement that forgets its hostages is condemned to fail” Harold Tobson

As of October 1st, comrades Mario Gonzalez, Carlos Lopez ‘El Chivo’, Fernando Barcenas and Abraham Cortez, imprisoned in different prisons in Mexico City, are carrying out a hunger strike indefinitely.

Four days in to the hunger strike, we make a call for solidarity to the struggle that the comrades are carrying out, fighting the society of incarceration in its heart. (more…)

Explosive solidarity with anarchist prisoners (Mexico)

Friday, October 3rd, 2014

via contra info:

As part of activities in solidarity with prisoners, we decided to attack those who have collaborated in the detention of several of our comrades. The espionage work carried out by the security bodies of the university in collaboration with the Mexican judicial system is all too known.

In relation to the events that occurred in the University City [UNAM’s main campus] on September 30th, 2014, we just want to say that we will not stop taking to the streets to propagate the antiauthoritarian action until our comrades walk out to the streets again and we destroy this society of exploitation in its entirety.

Freedom for anarchist prisoners! Freedom now!

“Luddites” conduct solidarity sabotages in southeast Quebec / Des “Luddites” font des sabotages solidaires dans le sud du Québec (Canada)

via antidev:

‘We retransmit this message sent to us from visitors… On retransmet ce message qui nous a été envoyé par des lecteurs-rices…’

So the other night on September 21, we’ve set fire to a railroad telecomm cable linking Brigham to Sherbrooke (Qc) to the US, thinking about the Algonquins people recently evicted from a resistance camp and detained in Gatineau. We took the time to select a railway bridge in the middle of nowhere near Waterloo, so we’d not have to dig to get to the cables or attract too much attention. Some fuel was dropped through an opening in the steel casing of the cables, then set on fire. Nothing fancy. It worked better than we’d guessed, as a few seconds later it already smelled of burning rubber a few meters away. The enclosed air in the conduit apparently turned the fire into something like a blow torch. Kind of an easy game to be reproduced elsewhere by others, we told ourselves… so that’s a reason to let others know.

Of course it didn’t cause the whole techno-industrial system to collapse! Society is still pretty much functional today. But you gotta start attacking it somewhere. Though it did feel as if an important nerve deep below society had been severed. And this felt good getting off our asses in the middle of the night for this. (more…)

“Contra viento y marea”: Folleto impreso por la solidaridad y el ataque antiautoritario (Chile)

Wednesday, October 1st, 2014

A new text released by the comrades in Chile regarding the International Week for Anarchist Prisoners.
